Kathmandu, Sept 25: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Minister for State for International Development of the United Kingdom, Kirsty McNeill, held a meeting on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
On the occasion, they discussed the various issues of Nepal-UK relations and mutual interests, according to Minister Khanal’s Secretariat.
The matter of further strengthening Nepal-UK bilateral cooperation as well as making the cooperation with UK in Nepal’s post-disaster recovery and reconstruction task further effective was also discussed.
Minister Khanal underlined that international partnership and cooperation would be significant in the context when Nepal has been forwarding post disaster rescue, relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction activities.
Both sides expressed their commitment to further expanding the existing cooperation between Nepal-UK. RSS
